It’s purpose is to motivate citizens to provide information on felony crimes by offering financial rewards and guaranteeing anonymity.
Using Crimeline is simple, easy and safe. When you call in you will not be asked your name or any personal information. You will be assigned a number.
Crimeline is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Crimeline takes anonymous tips on felony crimes. If your tip leads to a felony arrest or the recovery of narcotics, weapons or property you may also be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Too often, persons with vital information about crimes fail to contact a law enforcement agency because they do not wish to testify in court, The result of this reluctance is that many dangerous criminals who should be behind bars are still walking the streets.
