A very special Maitland Getdown Downtown street party from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday Dec. 5, on Independence Lane will feature live music from Jimmy Buffett tribute group The Landsharks Band, food trucks and vendors, a kids fun zone and a mechanical surfboard simulator.
Enjoy downtown restaurants such as Houndstooth Kitchen & Eatery, Brewlando Brewing, Boku Sushi, Parea Greek Taverna and Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream.
Parking is available south of the park on Packwood Avenue and north on Horatio Avenue.
