The Maitland Police Department will provide free children's car seat safety checks following story time at the Maitland Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 2.
This is a free service provided by the Maitland Police Department in a friendly and judgment-free opportunity to improve car seat safety. No citations will be issued for improper installations. Inspections take only ten minutes.
Priority will be given for:
• Rear-Facing Infant Child Safety Seat
• Rear-Facing Convertible Child Safety Seat
• Belt-Positioning Booster (AKA Booster Seat)
• Installation using LATCH system
