A boil water notice issued in part of Maitland along Shell Point East was rescinded Saturday, Dec. 7, following completion of two consecutive days of satisfactory bacteriological tests confirming that water is safe for consumption.
Testing, which is a precaution required under Florida Administrative Code, was conducted following damage and subsequent repair of an underground water main near Shell Point East. The impacted area included 11 homes on Shell Point East and part of Whitecaps Circle.
