The Maitland Farmer's Market celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day is rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. this Sunday, May 7, on Independence Lane.
Duke Energy will give away 40 crape myrtle trees. Electric vehicles will be on display. Register to win three days free use of an electric Mercedes-Benz, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of Orlando, Maitland.
The Avian Reconditioning Center will join the activities with several birds. The City of Maitland will have environmental information and giveaways.
Shop among the Farmer’s Market vendors. A kids zone will include inflatable slides and games on the lawn. Live music will be provided by Performing Arts Matters.
