Maitland police and fire responded at 3:45 p.m. today to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on U.S. Highway 17-92 north of Sybelia Parkway. All southbound lanes of U.S. 17-92 are currently closed between Maitland Boulevard and Sybelia Parkway. Traffic is detoured. Motorists are advised to avoid this area.
