The Florida Department of Transportation will host a public meeting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 2 at the Venue on the Lake, 641 S. Maitland Ave., to gather public input for a transportation study in Maitland.
This comprehensive study will evaluate the existing operations and potential roadway improvements for all modes of travel such as vehicular, pedestrian, bicycle, and transit, within the study area, focusing on the following corridors:
• U.S. 17/92 (Orlando Avenue) from 560-feet south of Maitland Avenue to Seminole County Line;
• State Road (S.R.) 414 (Maitland Boulevard) from Lake Faith Drive to the end of the U.S. 17-92 ramps; and,
• Maitland Avenue (County Road (C.R.) 427) from U.S. 17/92 to Stone Hill Drive.
