Work has started for a new maintenance project to seal up water leaks around Maitland City Hall.
Parts of the facility’s roof recently were patched up. Various windows will be resealed. Scaffolding has been constructed around parts of the building to allow workers to make repairs and changes to the exterior façade. The building entrance facing Independence Lane and other access doors will remain open.
Once work is completed outside, the project will focus on interior repairs. The project is expected to be completed in three months.
