City advisory boards and commissions provide expertise and recommendations to the City Council on a wide range of items, helping to shape policy.
The City of Maitland’s advisory boards and commissions are composed of Maitland residents appointed by the City Council, typically for three-year terms. Appointments are made in January, or as vacancies occur throughout the year. Serving on a board or commission requires time, preparation, and dedication to the responsibilities outlined for each body.
Although members serve on a volunteer basis, their contributions are vital to the continued success and progress of our community.
Please note that some boards require financial disclosure in accordance with Florida law.
