The FY 2015 Capital Improvements Program (“CIP”) approved the Bicycle Wayfinding Signing project. This project involves the installation of over 270 wayfinding signs throughout the Maitland and Eatonville communities. These standard signs will primarily direct bicyclists and pedestrians to local attractions such as the Maitland Public Library, Art & History Museums-Maitland, City parks, City Hall, the Maitland Baseball Complex, the Zora Neal Hurston Museum, and the Audubon Birds of Prey. The construction and the construction engineering and inspection (CEI) of the Bicycle Wayfinding Signing project is being administered by FDOT with grant funding provided by the Federal Highway Administration. Contractor is Traffic Control Products and CEI is CDM Smith. The City of Maitland contact for this project is Noel Cooper, Public Works Assistant Director: phone 407-539-6217; email: email@example.com.
Attached is a map of the bike routes with connections to City facilities and other points of interest.
