Maitland Station was approved on April 27, 2015 and construction begins in the first quarter of 2016.
A Development Agreement (DA) has been submitted by Epoch Properties, Inc., 359 Carolina Avenue, Suite 200, Winter Park, Florida 32789, for redevelopment of approximately 5.33 acres known as the Parker Lumber Property located at 851 North Orlando Avenue. The DA proposes development of a multistory multi-family apartment complex with 293 dwelling units. The proposal includes a multistory parking garage, up to five (5) levels and 68 feet in height. The residential development improvements have a five (5) story maximum and a maximum height of 55 feet, more or less, measured from average grade to the eave of the building. This proposed height does not include stairwells, elevator shafts and proposed roof elements and focal points not intended for human occupation. The applicant requests permitted conditional use approval for establishment of a multi-family use on the site, as well as bonuses related to building stepbacks, and waivers for items such as streetscape, access width, and number of loading spaces.
